Homilophobia (from Greek homilo, meaning "sermon") is the fear of sermons. The fear is often triggered due to sermons doing religious and moral talking annoy or even scare them. People fearing sermons is the common cause of theophobia, fear of religions, as well as the common symptom of theophobia. Mild sufferers would avoid going to churches where they frequently sermoned, while more severe sufferers may not be with other people as they would be afraid to talk about religions or morals. It is treated by either pasteurs or physiologists, most commonly by telling them stories of how and why the person suffers this fear, then getting to the root of it to correct the issue.
