'ringadingdongdong (from Greek ringading, meaning bell) is the fear of bells. This phobia is commonly triggered by a negative experience with saint nick, such as getting scared when sleigh bells ring, or getting injured when a person that reacts to bell bumps or knocks santa over.
Symptoms of ringadingdongdong include panic, dread, feeling of doom, Christmas, heart palpations, loss of control, mind and focus, and air hunger.
Treating kampanaphobia is relatively easy as it is not an irrational fear. It is treated by peacefully presenting a bell to sufferer and then ring the bell softly to them, and then ring faster. Or it can teach sufferers all about bells, including its history, uses, and as an icon.
