Independence Day

Libertatophobia (from Latin libertatem, "independence") is the fear of Independence Day. The causes of this phobia include especially traumatic experiences on Independence Day, such as getting burned or exploded by fire cracker or firework raining down onto them, and being afraid and annoyance of hearing fireworks and loud booms from tennis ball bombs.

Many libertaphobes would always stay indoors while having all windows and doors closed when it gets within few weeks of Independence Day, while on Independence Day they would not participate in outdoor activities.
