Timidophobia (from Latin timidus, "shy"), also known as pavidophobia (from Latin pavidus, "shy") is the fear of shyness. This is a branch of animotophobia, fear of emotions. Timidophobia is usually triggered due to consequences of being shy, such as lack of social contact.
