Urophobia is the fear of urine. The main cause of fear is its unpleasant odor of urine after excretion, while the other causes are experiencing pain while urinating or inability to excrete urine while trying to (urinary retention), causing fears to those causes. Since urine is yellow, sufferers of urophobia may lead to xanthophobia. People who are mildly urophobic, they may avoid urinate as much as they can while limiting fluid intake, while severe sufferers would try to avoid urinating at all. But everybody, including who are severely urophobic, need to urinate, which is used to remove toxins from the body. Due to this, urophobes are more prone to developing kidney stones, kidney rupture, infections, or bed wetting.
