Violetaphobia is the fear of swelling up into a blueberry. This fear is usually triggered after reading chapter 21 of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as in that chapter, Violet Beauregarde goes through a grotesque transformation into a giant blueberry after chewing a piece of dinner-flavored gum. Even though Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is just fiction, there are a few reported cases in the world.
