Xocolataphobia (from Nahuatl xococ, sour or bitter, and atl, water or drink) is the fear of chocolates. Some people are afraid of chocolates because of their bitter taste or even due to similar looking to a poop. Others even think that chocolates are poisonous. Sufferers would avoid consuming chocolates, like certain candies, cakes and cookies. Since chocolates aren't important part of the diet, avoiding chocolates would not be very limiting to their lives. This fear is most commonly suffered by young children and would usually go away by teen years. Xocolatophobia also has subcategories like M&Mphobia and Asorokfneoplaphobia.
